Resort of Los Delfines

The villa is situated approximately 800 yards from the coast lying between the two coves of Cala en Brunch and Cala en Forcat. The first cove offers the stronger swimmers the chance to dive off the rocks and with a snorkel swim amongst the many scholes of small fish with a local diving school based near the second cove for those wanting to try something a little more adventurous. There are plenty of sunbathing areas around both coves for those just wanting to watch the world go by. The sandy beach of Cala Blanes is only a couple of minutes car drive away.

The bustling resort of Cala en Forcat is only five minutes walk from the villa where you will find a huge selection of supermarkets, shops, bars and restaurants to suit all tastes. For the children there is an Aquapark and a number of bouncy castle play areas for them to let off steam whilst the parents enjoy a drink in the nearby bar. If you fancy a meal at the villa but do not want to cook the majority of restaurants offer a take away service.

For those preferring a quieter evening out there are a number of restaurants on the edge of the resort, again within easy walking distance from the villa or if you prefer a trip to Ciutadella there is a regular bus service from the resort.

On the out skirts of Cale en Forcat is the Ciutadella hippodrome, where every Sunday at 6.00pm there are trotting races. It is very informal where a tote betting system operates and has a bar to celebrate or commiserate in.

Approximately three kilometers from the resort is the ancient town of Ciutadella, graceful and full of winding streets. The Castell de Sant Nicolau was built in the 17th century to watch over Ciutadella’s harbour. It has a working drawbridge, offers magnificent sea views and features several exhibitions every year. There is a huge choice of bars and restaurants both within the towns many coble-stoned streets and along its harbour front, whilst on each Friday and Saturday there is a morning market to tempt you.
